We used Swaddlemes and SleepSacks with our son and were happy with them. The Swaddleme is very un-Montessori, but I do think swaddling helped our son sleep as an infant. The SleepSack helped to keep him warm, since we didn’t use blankets with him until he was a year old. I think both of these products are sort of inventions resulting from the American Academy of Pediatrics’ SIDS prevention recommendations (put babies to sleep on their backs and don’t use blankets until they’re 1 year old). If you follow the APA recommendations, I would recommend swaddling and SleepSacks.
