I have been curious about using soap nuts since I first heard about them while researching laundry detergents that are safe for cloth diapers. But it wasn’t until I found them at a bargain price that I decided to finally take the leap and use them as our regular laundry detergent.

Unfortunately, my experience with soap nuts was not a positive one. I found it too time-consuming and complicated to figure out when it was time to replace the soap nuts and I didn’t find that they cleaned my laundry all that well either.
