Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan Review

We gave up using nonstick pans in our house a while ago, when I first learned about the potential health risks linked to nonstick coatings. But we decided to give nonstick another try recently after learning about some of the new nonstick coatings that don’t use PFOA or Teflon.
I was fortunate enough to receive a Green Earth textured ceramic nonstick frying pan
recently from Ozeri for the purposes of a review. If there’s one thing that this pan has taught me, it’s the value of reading directions.
You can read my full review here, but basically this pan performed beautifully at first and then became progressively worse. More and more food was sticking to it and cleanup was more difficult, too.
I was really ready to give up on the pan completely and I probably would have if I had not needed to write a review of it. In the course of writing my review, I came across the directions for the pan, which recommend cleaning it with vinegar or lemon juice to remove food and oil residues if the nonstick coating wasn’t working properly.
I decided to give it a shot, even though I thought the pan was past any hope. To my surprise, the lemon juice and vinegar treatment really helped. So, instead of ending up in the trash can, this pan will be staying in our cupboard.
