If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you may have noticed that my posts have become somewhat sporadic lately. There are a lot of reasons for that (the full details of which I don’t feel like disclosing publicly right now), but suffice it say I have been overwhelmed of late by happenings in my personal life (some positive, some not).

One of the good things I’ve been working on is a new writing gig. I’m pleased to announce that I have recently been hired as About.com’s Green Family writer. You can check out my page there by clicking here.

Keep in mind: I’m just getting started, so there is not a lot of original content on the site yet. But I’d love to hear some thoughts from my readers about what you think of it so far. I’d welcome any suggestions for improvement or topics you’d like to see me cover.

So, what will my new venture mean for my blog? The biggest change will be that I am going to start linking to my articles on About.com. Since these articles will all be related to Green Family topics, which is already a focus of my blog, I hope these articles will be interesting and informative for you, my dear readers. That also means the best way to keep track of my writing on About.com is to simply follow my blog, which I hope you will continue to do.

Additionally, despite the fact that I feel like I am juggling way too many balls in the air in the moment, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to start posting with more regularity again soon. Our little guy starts preschool (Montessori, of course) in September, so I should have more time then, right? Right?! I certainly hope so.
