Choosing a Natural Teether

I have a confession to make: I really didn’t do all that much for my son when he was teething. Maybe he just wasn’t a complainer or I was just clueless, but we didn’t have a whole lot of success with teethers and the few times I tried teething gels, they really didn’t seem to help.
The teethers we did use were Sophie the Giraffe and some Natursutten ones we threw in the fridge. I can’t say either held his interest much.
This time around, I’ll be adding adding more organic and natural teethers into the mix. We’ll see whether things turn out any differently.
If you’re in the market for natural teethers, it’s a good idea to look for products made with organic cotton, wool, rubber or wood. By choosing a natural teether, you’ll not only help to soothe your baby’s aching gums but also choose a product that’s friendlier for the environment as well.
To get you started, here’s a list of my top picks for eco-friendly teethers.
