One of the many benefits of my job is that I get to try out new eco-friendly toys with our kids. As such, I was delighted to recently receive Haba’s Color Buttons Pegging Game, one of the German toy manufacturer’s new products for the spring of 2013.

I was particularly excited about this opportunity because we have several different toys from Haba and I’ve found all of their wooden toys to be of exceptional quality. The Color Buttons Pegging Game is no exception. You can read my full review of this toy here.

If you’re not familiar with Haba, this company has been making toys since 1938 and is well-known for its dedication to quality. As a mom, one of the things that I like best about this company is its commitment to sustainability and safety. To make their wooden toys, for example, they use timber from sustainably managed, local forests and use solvent-free, water-based stains.
