No Sippy Cups at Our House

As part of our resolution to give our son an upbringing inspired by Maria Montessori, we started giving him a glass to drink from from when he was about 1 year old. A shot glass proved to be the perfect size for his little hands and allowed him to improve his fine motor skills.

But it quickly became evident that using a shot glass wasn’t practical all the time in our busy lives. Particularly when traveling, some type of portable bottle became necessary. Although I was initially opposed to the idea of using any sippy cups at all, I decided to give the Kid Kanteen sippy a try.

However, our son had no interest in using it until we upgraded him to a sport top. It has been his regular water bottle ever since.

Recently, thanks to the retirement of his Thermos water bottle, I decided to get him a new Kid Kanteen. And I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the folks at Klean Kanteen had taken what was my favorite kids’ water bottle and made it even better. Check out my latest review to find out all the details.
